My third year concept is township grooves basically its based on historical townships such as Sophiatown, Medolands, gugulethu and langa but this is then cobined with the townships today such as Soweto and Khayalitsha ect. so the concept is inspired by these township structures, lifestyle of the people as well as the historical siluhetes and colours.
